Present Moments offers the experience of healing one's past to accomplish amazing things in the present. We want our men to experience a freedom from hopelessness to realize a life worth living sober for. We have researched and developed a way to accomplish this through a combination of eastern and western clinical and holistic modalities. These approaches help residents develop insight into their original feelings of pain and escape and see themselves as worthy of a full life free from drugs and alcohol. Men learn how to identity past traumas and fears and begin to heal from them. The building blocks for our recovery program is daily individual or group therapy, weekly exercise, mediation, yoga, good food, and camaraderie with other recovering men. Lives begin to change for the better by calming the mind, one day at a time, using the philosophy of the 12-Steps developed by Alcoholics Anonymous that have helped millions experience a new found hope, new lives, and ultimately, new loves.
