Teen Challenge Boston

Teen Challenge Boston provides adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to drug, alcohol, and other life-controlling problems in order to become productive members of society.

The Teen Challenge residential recovery program provides an opportunity for drug or alcohol addicted adults (age 18 years and older) to find freedom from their life-controlling problems while learning new skills to help them live successfully in families, in their communities and churches and as productive members of society. Biblical values are taught in ways that can be practically applied in real life situations. Students develop character qualities of integrity, self-control and compassion. They develop positive life skills that will assist them in becoming esteemed employees, respected neighbors and dependable family members. Personal studies, class lectures, chapel services and job skills training all combine to assist the students in learning new life skills and developing new patterns of thinking and living. Fellow students encourage each other as they become a strong family unit growing and changing together. Each part of the program strengthens the student and builds a foundation for fostering lifelong positive change. Our staff works closely with each student to develop plans and goals for the future as they approach the end of the program. Graduates of the fifteen month program may elect to remain at a Teen Challenge campus, enrolling as an intern which provides an increased period of freedom and responsibility while maintaining accountability, essential at this transitional time. Interns make very valuable contributions as role models for newer recovery students while Interns continue to grow. They receive a basic stipend that will assist them in learning budgeting and money management skills. Interns studies are the core curriculum for the Emerging Leaders Program so they can experience a smoother transition to that training program if they elect to continue the additional offered training in one of three career tracks.

Life-changing residential recovery programs provide a faith-filled approach for helping drug addicts and alcoholics transform their lives.

Affordable fee structure based on sliding scale, success rate better than non-faith based programs.
