Fresno New Connections

Fresno New Connections (FNC) has been providing SUD treatment and prevention services throughout Fresno County since 1975. The agency is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit certified by the State of California, Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to provide outpatient alcohol and/or other drug treatment services. All of our treatment staff are registered/certificated Addiction Treatment Counselors as recognized by the State of California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). FNC has strong collaborative relations with numerous service providers within Fresno County and is contracted with the Fresno County Department of Social Services, Cal Works, and the Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health Substance Abuse Services.

Adult Treatment Services for ages 18 and over
* Intensive and Less Intensive groups
* Co-occurring (Dual Diagnosis) groups
* Bi-lingual group
* Woman's group
* Faith-based group
* Young Adult (age 18-25) groups

Adolescent Treatment Services for ages 12 to 18
* Intensive and Less Intensive groups
* Co-ed Anger Management Services
* Family Education Component

Fresno New Connections provides outpatient substance use disorder services utilizing a group format. The average treatment episode consists of 6 months of services either 3x weekly or 2x weekly. All counselors are registered/certified as required by the California Department of Health Care Services.

Fresno New Connections provides a number of payment options. We are medi-cal certified and with expanded medi-cal, many people will qualify. We have a contract with the Fresno County Health Department which pays for services for some clients involved with CPS. We accept many private insurances. And we receive county funds to assist those who have no other means to pay.
