Nakeema’s Haven

Nakeema's Haven is a woman's sober house, which is a great need for women in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. We provide a sober environment that houses 2 women at a time. These women reside together for up to 8 months, not to exceed a year. They plan and prepare meals together, attend AA/NA meetings, and join in responsibility of house chores. They each have a laundry day. They are required to seek out a sponsor and maintain weekly contact. They must attend out patient counseling. While they are learning to become employable they are required to do volunteer work in the community. Our staff is 100% volunteer. Donations are always greatly appreciated, as we count on them to keep these doors open.
